Áron Bagdi is a partner at BLB Legal. He specializes in corporate and commercial law, M&A, and dispute resolution. Additionally, Áron provides legal support to organizations and business entities in the field of sports and tourism law. Between 2015 and 2016 he participated in the codification of the new Hungarian Code of Civil Procedure, and he is co-author of the civil procedural code’s Expert Proposal.  Áron, drawing on his previous experience in the field of tourism, supported all stakeholders in the tourism industry during the COVID pandemic by providing numerous legal interpretations and guidelines in his professional articles. Áron has published several times in the professional journal Sportjog, drawing on his experience before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne as well as his research in the field. Áron also serves as the chair of the disciplinary and ethics committee of a national sports federation, thereby contributing to the effective preparation of athletes.

For two years, Áron oversaw 14 key state-owned entities in the Hungarian tourism sector as Director of Portfolio Management, supporting their daily operations and contributing to their effective functioning.

Áron applies his legal expertise gained in the business world and his experience in transactions as a supervisory board member of an independent private equity fund.
